Having survived the end of the world, the Queens follow Hannah back to where it all began: Mage University. A long perilous journey awaits the Rat Queens as they attempt to find out what happened to Hannah’s father while battling their own demons.
The third issue of Vol. 3 almost picks up where it left off. This volume was very Hannah-centric which was a little weird. I love Betty a lot but she felt almost invisible. The story itself felt a little (a super tiny amount) of lost and confused. Like it had a lot to throw in before the next set of issues and only so many pages to do it but I have a super soft spot for the Rat Queens so I still really enjoyed it.
The dragon scene with Betty was super cute and the part where Hannah sheds herself to become her true version was all kinds of wow. I mean, WOW. I was forced to lie down to prevent my body from exploding.
Anyway, can’t give too many spoilers but it was SO GOOD and I need to read the next set of issues ASAP. IMAGE GIVE ME MORE RAT QUEENS.
Of course, I rated this book a 5/5 stars.
